Brittania #1

This image is my first attempt to describe the abstract qualities I observed in a beautiful green marble retaining wall. The marble wall was built in the 1920’s from material at the Brittania Mine……hence the title. I consider the piece to be successful in terms of the intellectual probing that has continued ever since I first felt something when I saw the wall.   Status: Collection of the artist.
