Earth to Sky No3 Preliminary Study

The preliminary study evolved from the quick gesture drawings in my sketch book on the night of the incense burn. I was trying to capture the fluid movement of the incense sticks and then introduce color into the spaces provided by the sticks. As this process evolved the drawings became more and more complex while keeping the integrity of the initial sketch.   Status: Collection of the artist.
