Fence

My attention to detail is evident in this piece but unfortunately the reproduction quality in the late 70’s is not what it is today. The fence was part of a pig farm enclosure and I was fascinated with the abstract qualities of the weathered wood. The play of shadow and contrast was a precursor to my passion for pen and ink.
