88 Grey Cup

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers won the 1988 Grey Cup and I was commissioned to design the championship ring. At that time I operated the scoreboard for the Bomber home games and I got in a lot of trouble when my boss recommended I put “BC SUCKS” up on the scoreboard. I did and needless to say a controversy ensued and fortunately I did not become the fall guy for the fiasco!   Status: Private collection
