Folk Fest

While living in Winnipeg during the mid eighties, one of my favorite annual events was attending the Winnipeg Folk Festival at Birds Hill Park. Long into the evening after a sweltering day, the live stage music was magical in the night air. You have missed something if you have never heard electric bagpipes echoing across the trees.
