After twenty five years of working in the gaming industry, as an hourly employee you learned  to cherish your “break”.  For the most part it meant one hour on the floor followed by a fifteen minute break. However, from “on the floor” to the breakroom, depending on the casino you worked in, could be a five minute journey (each way) which cut into the actual break time significantly. Thus was born this rendering of “on the clock” for your break as you were expected back on the floor and have resumed your duties at the stroke of fifteen minutes as per the break schedule…..thus speed was of the essence!   Status: Private collection.
