Clark's Grocery

When I first moved to Winnipeg I was struck by the number of “mom and pop” corner stores scattered throughout the neighborhoods. The big box grocery store was making them obsolete one by one. I captured about 10 of them and did a couple of studies focusing on just the front door with its vintage signage. The fading in and out of detail is my effort to capture the sunlight streaming across the store front.   Status: Collection of the artist.
